Camel Dream Interpretation and Meaning

Share

The camel is a symbol of stamina, patience, endurance, and reaching long-term goals. If you dream of a camel, it suggests that you either rely on these qualities too much, or that you need to cultivate these qualities within yourself to a greater degree. Alternatively, the camel may represent someone or some situation in your life that you associate with these qualities.

Dreaming of a camel may foretell of future difficulties – burdens – coming into your life, but it also indicates that you will be strong enough to face them and come through the troublesome period victoriously.

The dream camel represents a need to become more conservative in your actions and suggests that you let go of some of the responsibilities you are carrying. It indicates that you tend to hold your emotions in instead of expressing them and releasing them. Dreaming of a camel means that you should let go of old resentments and learn to forgive so you can unburden yourself.

The dream camel indicates that you have a great potential for handling large problems and responsibilities, but it also suggests that you need to conserve your energy to do so successfully. Dreaming of a camel represents the need to work very hard and persistently to overcome obstacles to reach your goal.

If you dream of several camels carrying burdens, it means you will receive an unexpected inheritance or other riches. If you are riding a camel in your dream, it means that your future is very bright.

For Christians, the camel represents servitude and carrying the burdens of others. The dream camel is also a symbol of help that arrives just when it seems all is lost.

  • I dreamt about 3 white miniature camels - the tallest being about a foot high. They came into my room through a window.

  • I dreamt that a huge camel was at my front door, then he stuck his HUGE head inside my house. I was a bit freightened and taken aback (actually, I fell backwards), but still asked my husband to pass my iPhone so that I could get the camel's picture.

  • I dreamed my mother told me my camel would sleep in my room. She led it in while I was sleeping. I could hear it and was afraid of it. Those big teeth. That big beast. I tried to open my eyes but could not. I was nervous the sheet over me would slip off and I would feel the camel with my feet. We ere on some kind of journey. I was grown up but mom is always in my dreams.

  • Mine was a really really odd dream,I dreamed that there was a miniature camel and it gave birth to a litter of camels (like dogs or cats)about eight much more smaller than the one giving birth and there was even one still wrapped up in the birth membrane that human babies shed at birth. I was lying in bed asleep and they woke me up because they were running around and I felt something that my left toe was wrapped around something and I was frightened thinking it might be one of the camels so without even looking I felt for it and plucked it out from inside my toes and sure enough it was a baby camel, but it felt so soft and soothing that it made me relax and be accepting of what was happening! I just can't imagine what that dream meant, any takers? LOl

  • I dreamt I owned a grown camel, we had this non verbal understanding and he would come whenever I whistled or called his name. He died and reincarnated (like a Phoenix) into a baby camel but he still followed me. Knowing exactly who I was. Anyways, I took him home and there was a horrible storm out but he wanted to play. After a while it got too quiet and I had an uneasy feeling so I called out for him but he did not come running. I knew something was wrong because in my dream no matter where he was, he'd hear me and run to find me. I ran outside and found him weak in a large body of water drowning. He fought to live because I kept calling him but he collapsed, I picked him up and placed him in a towel, he then dried instantly and looked at me again, non verbally telling me he was okay. It felt so strange and so real.

  • I dreamed three different dreams having to do with destruction and death, and at the end of the last one, my sister and I finally got to our resort for our vacation. On a beautiful beach was a white camel, with its back turned to us.

  • I had a dream I was on the street and a guy passed riding a camel and another in his hand carrying like he knew I was going to be there. He left the camel at the side of the road and told me he would be back to help me get on but he had to get something. When he left he didn't tie the camel up so the camel started walking and I had to catch him, once I got the string, the camel started to walk towards me as if he knew me. The camel bend his head down and glanced into my eyes, all I could do then was smile and rub his head, it felt like the camel and I were inseparable a very warm feeling. Wish I had never woke up.
